Color Techniques

Bio

Holly Croteau was born in Mississippi but raised out west. Although hair and fashion have always been her first passion, she has also studied painting, photography and graphic arts at the Colorado Institue of Art in Denver, CO. Upon moving back to the Southeast in 1998, Holly obtained an Associate of Arts in Fine Art then decided to persue a career in the field she has always been fascinated with, haircare. Holly Croteau has been a hairstylist since 2000. She started working with her friend who was a vetern hairstylist. Then, in 2002, she opened her own studio salon, Head to Toe Salon, that has now expanded to a 8 chair salon and day spa.While Holly has also had extensive training in natural nailcare, she chose to turn the focus of her career to the creative haircolor industry. She has had a wide range of haircolor education with companies such as Chi, Goldwell and Redken. But quickly developed a passion for premium haircolor and the artists she has been trained by at Italy Hairfashion. In 2002 she began doing backstage work for hairshows in Mississippi and Louisiana and began working for an educator with Italy Hairfashion in 2006. Holly has shared her passion and love for the haircolor industry with many stylists and students. Holly prides herself in being an educator and comes back to her salon after each of her educational experiences even more excited and invigorated about the haircare industry than she was before. She hopes to furter her career by doing fashion photoshoots, film, and continue to move up in the field of platform work, aspiring to be among the top in her industry.
